History of The 7th IEIM 2026

The IEIM, The 7th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management, was held in Milan, Italy during January 7-9, 2026 successfully. More than 80 experts from about 13 countries joint and shared the latest research on the conference. We would like to express our sincere appreciation from the help of members from conference committee, reviewers, and workers. Thanks to their works, our conference could be held in good way.

Accepted papers were published in Springer Conference Proceedings-Lecture Notes on Multidisciplinary Industrial Engineering. Online and index information is coming.

Enjoy The Conference

Following the registration on January 7, the conference officially opened at 9:00 a.m. on January 8, 2026, in Milan, Italy. Prof. Roel Leus gave us opening remarks, and Prof. Dimitri Lefebvre gave us welcome address, Prof. Sara Perotti hosted the opening part.

The morning program featured four plenary speeches delivered by Prof. Richard F. Hartl from the University of Vienna, Austria; Prof. Cristian Mahulea from the University of Zaragoza, Spain; Prof. Maurizio Faccio from the University of Padua, Italy; and Prof. Luiz Moutinho from the University of Suffolk, UK. A group photo and coffee break were scheduled between the second and third plenary speeches. The morning program provided an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and explore recent developments in industrial engineering and its applications.

The conference program included nine oral sessions and one poster session, covering a wide range of topics, including intelligent manufacturing information systems and innovation management; industrial information network construction and security management; supply chain design, equipment maintenance, and intelligent decision analysis in manufacturing systems; product quality control and production process optimization; lean manufacturing processes and equipment behavior modeling; industrial production optimization planning and logistics transportation; lean manufacturing and production management; innovation management and optimized transportation in industrial systems; and demand analysis and supply chain optimization in industrial management.
